
Tori Drew
Tori Drew is a highly experienced dance artist, educator, and community practitioner with over 20 years of working across schools and community settings. She has a strong passion for working with communities, with a particular specialism in engaging early years and older adults, creating inclusive spaces where people can connect, express themselves, and take part in their own way.
Tori has taught extensively across London, Leeds, Birmingham, and internationally in Israel, bringing a breadth of cultural and educational experience into her work. She holds a Dance and Education degree from the University of Roehampton, a postgraduate qualification in Dance in the Community from Trinity Laban, a PGCE with QTS from the Royal Academy of Dance, and an MSc in Dance Science from the University of Wolverhampton. This combination of academic study and practical experience underpins her thoughtful and responsive approach to teaching and creating.

Throughout her career, Tori has created opportunities for people to experience dance in inspiring and unexpected ways. Highlights include founding an all-boys dance company that featured on BBC London, supporting students to perform at Sadler’s Wells, and being recognised in The Good Schools Guide for her excellence in A-level dance facilitation. Her freelance work has spanned intergenerational projects connecting schools and care homes, as well as outreach and facilitation work for the likes of ACE Dance and Music, Autin Dance Theatre and Birmingham Royal Ballet
Alongside her creative practice, Tori has held leadership roles as an Education Manager at One Dance UK and ACE dance and music, helping to shape and support dance education at a national level.
Now working independently , she continues to teach, create, and lead projects that bring people together. Passionate about Birmingham and the Black Country, Tori’s work is driven by a commitment to community, connection, and using dance as a way to support and uplift others.
