A chance for SEND young people and their families/carers to relax and socialise during a fab night of DJ mixes and dancing! Suitable for ages 10+ and their families.
About The Project
Tori Drew was delighted to be part of Club SENsation, a relaxed and inclusive SENDisco at Midlands Arts Centre, created for young people with SEND aged 11–25 and their families and carers.
Working as a dance facilitator within the space, Tori supported participants to engage with movement in a way that felt comfortable, creative, and fun. The session offered a gentle and welcoming environment, with a calm first hour, opportunities to learn simple choreography, and a joyful disco to bring everyone together.
With thoughtful adjustments including lower music levels, softer lighting, breakout spaces, and sensory-friendly resources, Club SENsation created an environment where everyone could take part in their own way.
